Logging in
The Webflow system can take upto 30 seconds extra to start when your computer has finished starting up. This will not be a problem if you leave your computer on permanently, or if you have installed Webflow on a server, but bear this delay in mind before logging in for the first time.
To login, open your preferred browser and navigate to Webflow. The URL to type into your browsers address bar depends where you installed Webflow, but normally to connect to an Webflow system installed on the same machine as you are browsing on, use http://localhost:8080
You should see a screen similar to the one below:-

The default username is Administrator and the default password is letmein.
Once logged in, you should see the main screen like the one below:-

This is the default screen you see when no scripts or packages are installed. Some standard menu options to the right hand side of the menu bar are always available to switch between scripts, perform Administrative functions and log out.
Consult the User Guide for more information on these menu items. The following section will lightly explain how to install simple scripts so you can work through this guide.
Installing Scripts
To install simple script files (usually xml text files ending in an xml extension, click the 'Administrator' menu and choose 'Script Management'. You should see the script management page as in the screen below.

Click "Add Script Package" and choose your xml script file by clicking "Browse". If the installation is successful you will be returned to the main screen otherwise an error list will be displayed.
The first time you install a script, you need to give permission for users (including yourself) to use it.
Setting Script Access
To give access to a script, go to the Script Management screen and highlight the script in the top table and click "Change Script Access". In the default install of Webflow only one group will exist called "Administrators". You will need to change the access from "No Access" to "Read-Write Access". Change this and click Ok.
You will need to logout and login again to see your script appear on the "Categories" menu on the main screen.
Removing Scripts
To remove scripts go into the "Script Management" screen and highlight the script on the bottom table. Click the "Delete Script Package" and confirm "Yes" to the warning. The script is removed from the system.
Updating Scripts
To update an existing script, you first need to remove the old one as described above in the "Removing Scripts" section. Then you can install it in the normal way. Any access settings will be remembered.
