Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975 with P.D. Leake & Co. in London. After qualifying Chris worked with Morris & Kempe in Bermuda until 1977. He established Midgley, Snelling, Spencer & Co. in Guernsey in 1977 and this operation merged with Pannell Kerr Forster (Guernsey) in 1984. He was appointed Finance Partner of Pannell Kerr Forster (Guernsey) in 1984 and was Managing Partner/Director from 1990 until his retirement in 2000.
- Andy Dwelly. Director.
Graduating from UMIST in 1983 with an Honours degree in Computation, Andy Dwelly worked initially for ICL in Berkshire before being seconded to the European Computer-Science Research Centre in Munich, Germany in 1985. After five years, he emigrated to Canada, working first on the Myrias Supercomputer (and speeding it up). He subsequently founded the Lambda Systems computer consultancy with two others.
Lambda Systems ran successfully between January 1994 and July 1997, producing a variety of software in this period. Andy was personally involved in innovative systems for digital typesetting, including the design and purchase of Yellow Pages™ advertisements over the Internet. He also involved with a version of the Net-Nanny™ product which gives parental control over children's use of the web.
In 1997, Andy left Lambda Systems to return to Guernsey where he set up Cedilla Software Services Ltd., a consultancy specializing in large scale Internet software. He has performed software design work for Reuters, Eidos, SWIFT in Brussels, and Experian.
